About the Role

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a crucial role in Capitec Bank’s new Centre of Excellence. This centre provides essential governance, controls, and specialized skills to our product teams. You will be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team, responsible for the entire software development lifecycle of complex Salesforce systems and applications. Your work will ensure our solutions are scalable, high-performing, and ready for future needs.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex Salesforce software systems and applications.
• Ensure that all developed solutions are scalable, performant, and meet future business requirements.
• Provide expert guidance and support to other developers and stakeholders on project scoping, progress, status updates, and resolving engineering challenges.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the development team.

Who We’re Looking For (Requirements)

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification is essential.
• An Undergraduate Degree is preferred.
• Relevant Salesforce Certifications are a must.
• A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in developing Salesforce solutions.
• At least 6 years of experience in both front-end and back-end software development, including project delivery and implementation using relevant development technologies/languages.
• Demonstrated experience with modern front-end and back-end frameworks and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies such as Omni Script, Apex, Flow, or Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Service Cloud or Salesforce Services Cloud.
