Software Engineer: Full Stack II

Capitec Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced Software Engineer: Full Stack II to join their team in Stellenbosch.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software systems and applications. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Grade12 National Certificate (Minimum)
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (Preferred)
• AWS Certified
• 3+ years’ proven experience in both front- and back-end software development
• Experience with modern front-end and back-end frameworks and technologies

Tech Stack

• AWS
• Amazon Connect (Preferred)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web frameworks e.g. React.Js
• Database design, optimisation and experience e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Microservices Architecture (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
