Specialist: Employee Wellness – (2107)

Job Summary

The University of the Western Cape is seeking a Specialist: Employee Wellness to plan, design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive employee wellness program. The successful candidate will report to the Director: HR Service Excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage a comprehensive wellness programme
• Assist in monitoring program budget
• Facilitate and engage outsourced counselling service and advisory services
• Advise internal clients, HR Consultants and stakeholders of appropriate interventions and support programmes
• Assist and drive the development of Wellness Strategy, annual strategic and operational plans and policies

Minimum Requirements

An Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology, Social Science, Psychology, Human Resources or related qualification at NQF8 level,5 years or more experience in the human resources environment, and registration with a Professional body (SABPP; HPSCA or related).
