SAIBPP, a non-profit organisation, is all about transforming the property industry and getting more incredible talent, like you, involved. This bursary fund was created to help students like you, who have big dreams but might need a financial boost, to pursue full-time studies in property or related fields. It’s now in its 8th year, having raised over R10 million – that’s some serious commitment to your future!
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for this fantastic opportunity, make sure you tick all these boxes:
- You must be a proud South African citizen.
- You need to be currently in Matric, or have already completed Matric.
- You must be studying or planning to study full-time for an undergraduate or postgraduate (up to Honours) degree in one of the property-related fields listed below.
- Your studies must be at one of these public institutions: University of Johannesburg, University of the Witwatersrand, University of Pretoria, University of KwaZulu-Natal, University of Cape Town, Cape Peninsula University of Technology or Tshwane University of Technology.
- You need to have a strong academic record – show them what you’re made of!
- You must be able to demonstrate financial need.
- You should be willing to become a student member of SAIBPP and get involved in community outreach.
What Does It Cover?
This bursary is designed to give you comprehensive support, covering all your study-related expenses and even your accommodation! So you can focus on your studies without the extra financial stress. SAIBPP is looking to fund students in the following fields:
- Finance (majoring in Property Valuation and Management) (BCom)
- Property Development (BSc)
- Property Studies (BSc)
- Property Management (BSc)
- Property Valuation and Management (BCom)
- Property Valuation and Management (BCom Honours)
- Real Estate (BSc)
- Real Estate (National Diploma)
How to Apply?
Getting your application in is super important! Here’s how you do it:
- Download the Application Form: Grab the official SAIBPP Bursary Application Form 2026.
- Gather Your Documents: Make sure you have clear, certified copies of everything on this list. Missing documents could mean your application isn’t considered!
- ID document (certified copy)
- Grade 11 final results and Matric June results, if currently in Matric (certified copy)
- Matric certificate, if you’ve completed Grade 12 (certified copy)
- 2024 final results, if you’re currently studying (certified copy)
- Latest results, if not studying this year (certified copy)
- Final results or progress report of all subjects, if examinations were not written (certified copy)
- Parents or guardians’ proof of household income (latest payslips if employed, an affidavit if unemployed, proof of grant or pension if applicable)
- 2 testimonials (one from an educational official and one from a community leader or personal associate)
- A motivational essay to support your application (check page 9 of the application form for details – maximum 500 words). Need help? Read our tips on how to write a compelling motivational letter.
- Submit Your Application: Email your completed application form and all supporting documents to: learningandgrowth@saibpp.co.za. Remember to put “SAIBPP BURSARY FUND 2026” in your email subject line!
