Who Can Apply?

You must be a South African citizen.
You need to be currently in Matric or have already completed your Matric.
You must be studying or planning to study towards one of the following qualifications in 2026:
- Accounting (BCom)
- Chemical Engineering
- Chemistry (BSc)
- Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current only)
- Extractive Metallurgy
- Geology (Mining/ Exploration)
- Human Resources (BCom)

You must have received university exemption in Matric.
You need at least 60% (or a Rating Code 5) for English in Matric.
You need at least 60% (or a Rating Code 5) for Science in Matric.
You need at least 60% (or a Rating Code 5) for Mathematics in Matric.
Students with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply! Just be aware that selection will consider the physical demands related to the occupation of your chosen degree.
