  • A BA Degree in Development Studies or Social Sciences (NQF Level 7) is required.

Here, you’ll be supporting the implementation of youth development programmes aimed at empowering young people across Johannesburg. You’ll provide administrative support, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure vital services reach the youth. Your learning areas will include coordinating youth initiatives, administering empowerment programmes, liaising with stakeholders for integrated services, and providing essential reports and administrative support.

For BOTH streams, you’ll also need to have:

  • Strong communication skills (both writing and speaking!).
  • Knowledge of community development.
  • Project management and coordination skills.
  • Good computer literacy (especially MS Word and Excel).
  • The ability to work effectively with stakeholders and diverse communities.
