  • A letter of recommendation from someone who can vouch for your academic performance and personal character (not a friend or family member, please!). Remember to include their contact details.
  • Your Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Proof of your monthly household family income (e.g., latest payslips, bank statements if self-employed, an affidavit if unemployed, or proof of pension/SASSA grant if applicable).
  • Any bursary agreement, letter, or offer if you’re currently receiving funding from another bursary or NSFAS.
  • If you’re under 18, you’ll need a completed and signed consent form by a parent or guardian to comply with POPI regulations. Download it here: Consent Form.
  • Also for under 18s: your parent or guardian’s ID document (certified copy, less than 3 months old).
  • If you are disabled, include your Department of Labour Employment Equity Act (EEA1) Form AND a Doctors’ Letter.
