Job Summary

The Department of Co-Operative Governance and Traditional Affairs is seeking a Director to lead Transformation Programmes in Johannesburg.

Requirements

Matric plus NQF level7/ bachelor’s degree in public administration, Social Sciences, Humanities, or relevant qualification, coupled with5 years’ experience at a middle/senior managerial level in Transformation Programmes or Related Programs. The ideal candidate should possess competencies such as knowledge in local government and development studies, communication skills, planning and organisational skills, and project management skills.

Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing capacity building initiatives on GEYODI mainstreaming and gender-based violence and femicide, managing and coordinating capacity building initiatives, and ensuring the monitoring of training programmes.
