Who Can Apply?
MQA welcomes applications from:
- South African citizens
- Grade 12 learners, unemployed youth, and full-time students
- Applicants pursuing or intending to pursue MQA-funded qualifications
- Historically Disadvantaged Individuals (HDIs)
- Households with a combined income of R600,000 or less per annum
- Female students and students with disabilities
- Individuals from rural or mining communities
- Applicants listed under the Sectoral Priority Occupations Interventions (SPOI)
- Academically strong students
What the MQA Bursary Covers
The bursary may include:
- Full tuition fees
- Accommodation and meals
- Prescribed books and learning materials
- Monthly living allowance
- Travel expenses (if applicable)
