The South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) invites South African students to apply for bursary funding for the 2026 academic year.

Bursary Location: South Africa (Nationwide – for studies at accredited South African tertiary institutions)

SAPOA bursaries are awarded for the following property-sector related qualifications:
- BSc Architectural Studies
- BSc Civil Engineering
- BSc Construction Studies
- BSc Property Studies
- BCom Property Valuation and Management
- BSc Quantity Surveying
- BSc Real Estate
- Urban/Town and Regional Planning (Bachelor of)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Property Development and Management (PGDip)
What the SAPOA Bursary Covers
- Tuition fees
- Study books
- Accommodation
- Mentoring and tutoring
Please Note: Meals and monthly stipends are NOT covered.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Be accepted/registered to study full-time in one of the approved qualifications
- Be enrolled or accepted at an accredited tertiary institution in South Africa

Submit clear, certified copies of the following documents:
- South African ID document
- Grade 11 or latest report, if currently in Matric
- Matric certificate, if already completed
- Proof of registration (2025) or proof of application, if in Matric
- Latest academic transcripts, if already studying
- Parent(s)/guardian(s) ID or death certificate (if deceased)
- Parent(s)/guardian(s) proof of household income (3 months’ payslips/affidavit/SASSA letter)
- Unabridged birth certificate (optional)
- Motivational letter (max 1 page)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) (required if already in university)
