Hollywood Foundation: Bursaries 2026

 

The Hollywood Foundation is inviting students to apply for the Future is Bright bursary programme, for the 2026 academic year.

 

Bursaries will be awarded for Undergraduate (Higher Certificate, Diploma or Degree), and Postgraduate studies, within the following fields:

  • Data Science
  • Digital Marketing / Marketing & Communication
  • Finance & Accounting
  • ICT/Information Technology & Computing (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology and Information Systems, Software Engineering, System and Network Administration)

 

The bursary will cover pre-approved costs, specifically:

  • Registration fees,
  • Tuition fees,
  • Prescribed textbooks, study materials,
  • Accommodation and living assistance

 

Students will be required to partake in vacation work at the company, for a minimum of half of the holiday period. Students will receive a transport stipend.

 

After graduation, students may be required to take up employment at the company, at their sole discretion, to be employed within their graduate programme. The duration of employment will be equal to the duration of funding received.

To qualify, the following criteria must be met:

  • Grade 12 learners: Must have a minimum average of 65%
  • Current tertiary students: Must have a minimum average of 60% in your most recent results
  • You must be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above, in 2026
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Proof of University application/ acceptance letter
  • Additionally, submit a motivation letter outlining why you deserve the bursary and how your chosen qualification aligns with your career goals and personal aspirations.
  • Duration of qualification must be 12 months and longer
  • You must apply to or be studying at a South African tertiary institution that is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET)
  • Incomplete applications or applications with incorrect information will be disqualified
  • You must NOT be receiving any other bursary, awards, internships, or emoluments, that bind you to enter the service of any organisation upon completion of your studies
