SAPOA’s 2026 Bursary Fund applications have opened.
Established in late 2009, the SAPOA Bursary Fund’s mandate is to promote transformation, redress the past, bring awareness of the property sector to youths, and to address the current and future skills shortage of the real estate sector by providing deserving university students in the property faculty with bursaries.
The following qualifications are sponsored by the SAPOA Bursary Fund:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Property Development & Management
- BSc. Construction Studies
- BSc. Property Studies
- BSc. Quantity Surveying
- BSc. Architectural Studies
- BSc. Civil Engineering
- BSc. Real Estate
- BCom. Property Valuation & Management
- Bachelor of Urban/Town and Regional Planning
The SAPOA Bursary Fund covers:
- Full tuition fees.
- University-accredited accommodation.
- Prescribed textbooks and study materials.
- Structured mentoring and academic tutoring.
Eligibility requirements:
South African citizens aged 18-35-years old who are Employment Equity candidates, as well as current undergraduates in SAPOA-funded degrees:
- BCom Property Valuation & Management
- BSc Architectural Studies
- BSc Construction Studies
- BSc Property Studies
- BSc Quantity Surveying
- BSc Real Estate
- BSc Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Urban/Town & Regional Planning
- PGDip Property Development & Management (honours level)

Applications are open between the 1st of July 2025 to the 15th of September 2025.
