The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is now accepting applications for its prestigious High School Scholarship Programme for 2025, with scholarship placement beginning in 2027.
This opportunity is aimed at current Grade 6 learners (Class of 2025) who show academic potential and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Target group: Learners currently in Grade 6 (2025 academic year)
What the Scholarship Offers:
This scholarship goes beyond covering school fees, it includes access to a structured entrepreneurial development program designed to nurture future business leaders and innovators from an early age.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Be in Grade 6 during 2025
Hold South African citizenship (at least one parent must also be a citizen)
Show a genuine interest in entrepreneurship or business leadership
Have achieved a minimum average of 70% across all subjects in Grades 5 and 6
Earn at least 70% in both Mathematics and English in Grades 5 and 6
Be 11–12 years old in Grade 6 (born in 2013 or 2014)
Come from a household earning no more than R20 000/month, including all income sources
Possess a valid cellphone number for communication regarding the application
Submit certified copies of all necessary documents
Selection Timeline:

Assessments: December 2025
Interviews: February to March 2026
