ABOUT THE WENOSA SCHOLARSHIP – FIELDS COVERED
The Women’s Empowerment Network of South Africa (WENOSA) is inviting students to apply for their Postgraduate Scholarship Programme, for the 2026 academic year.

ABOUT THE WENOSA SCHOLARSHIP – EXPENSES COVERED
Scholarships will be awarded to the value of R50 000 per student, which can be used for tuition fees and study materials.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WENOSA SCHOLARSHIP
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must be a woman/ female
- You must be studying towards a postgraduated degree qualification, within one of the fields of study listed above
- You must be entering your final year of study
- Preference will be given to students with financial need
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE WENOSA SCHOLARSHIP

Submit the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):
- ID document
- Academic Transcripts
- Proof of 2025 Enrolment
- Motivational Letter, where you should outline your commitment to women’s issues, career goals, and reasons for applying (500 to 700 words)
- 2 Recommendation Letters (read our tips on how to get a letter of reference/ testimonial for your bursary application)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Proof of household income: recent payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, SASSA confirmation letter if receiving a social grant
