Bursary Description
The scheme, established in 2002 in memory of Enniskillen-born musician and composer Joan Trimble, aims to support young people in music, creativity, the performing arts, and Irish culture.
The bursaries are available to individuals up to 25 years of age for specialist education training sessions, courses, international cultural programmes, and participation in master classes and summer schools.
Applicants must be living in Fermanagh, or have been in full-time education in County Fermanagh, or at university or in higher education but officially resident in Fermanagh.
The closing date for applications is March 28.
For more information or to download an application form visit www.fermanaghtrust.org.
The latest recipients of the awards include several young musicians who have received support to advance their training, such as Lana Francesca McArdle, Jessica Elise McArdle, and Isaac Milligan.
Ava Crudden will use her award to attend a masterclass at Belfast Trad Fest.
Other award recipients include Rory Blake and classical singing student April McGuigan.
The bursary also supports performers in drama and professional musicianship, including Luchia McCusker, Luke Beirne, and Peter McMahon.
Liz McVey, granddaughter of the late Joan Trimble and chairperson of the bursary awards, said: “We are delighted to have supported so many talented young people in previous years who are so deserving of the experiences.
“We hope to reach even more young people with these bursary awards and very much wish that others will gain valuable skills as they progress in their fields.”
