Bursary Description
We know there’s a lot to think about if you’re considering further study after your undergraduate degree – from the type of qualification, subject and of course, funding.
So it might help to know that if you’re thinking of staying in Manchester for your Masters, you might be eligible for a discount on, or support with your fees as a graduate of the University.
Alumni discount
The University of Manchester is offering its alumni an exclusive 10% tuition fee discount for taught postgraduate courses starting in September 2025.
Manchester Masters Bursary
As part of our commitment to widening participation, the Manchester Masters Bursary supports students from underrepresented backgrounds by helping them to access postgraduate study at The University of Manchester.
This year, there are 150 bursaries available and applications are open from Monday, 3 March until Friday, 30 May.
