The NNPC – RENAISSANCE JV University Bursary is a scholarship program aimed at promoting academic excellence and improving the skills of young Nigerians. It provides a yearly grant to successful applicants for the duration of their undergraduate degree program.

Who Can Apply?

This merit-based bursary is in two categories – the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award.

National Merit Award (NM) – Open to all Nigerians
Areas of Operation Merit Award – Open to Nigerians who are indigenes of Renaissance’s operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States

To be eligible, applicants must:

Be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Be registered full-time undergraduates in an accredited University in Nigeria.
Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity operating in the Oil and Gas Industry, national or international.
Provide evidence of being in 200 Level, with proof of admission into an undergraduate program in the 2023/2024 academic session.

What Does It Cover?

The bursary provides a yearly grant to successful applicants for the duration of their undergraduate degree program.

How to Apply?

Applications must be processed only through the Renaissance African Energy Company website. You’ll need to provide the required documentation, including:

Clear scanned copies of their University Matriculation Examination (UTME) scores;
JAMB or University Admission Letter;
O/Level Result;
100 Level Transcript and A/level Result (for students admitted through direct entry);
A recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant;
A Letter of Identification from the state (showing local government) of origin.
