Are you a technically inclined, unemployed youth eager to start a career in engineering or the mining sector? AfriSam is offering an 18.2 Learnership Programme at Eikenhof Quarry, providing a fantastic opportunity for those with the right qualifications and passion for technical work. This programme will help you gain practical experience and build a solid foundation for a future career.
Learnership Requirements
To qualify for this learnership, you must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with passes in Pure Mathematics (not Maths Literacy), Physical Science, and English; or
- N2 Certificate, including four relevant subjects such as Mathematics, Engineering Science, and other trade-related subjects; or
- Engineering NCV Certificates with seven subjects at NQF level 4; or
- Technical Grade 11 with subjects in Maths, Science, Language, and a related trade theory subject; or
- A relevant N6 certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S, or N stream), directly related to the trade theory subjects.
- A valid driver’s license will be an advantage.
Learnership Agreement
Learners will be required to sign the 18.2 Learnership Agreement, which will also be registered with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA). This agreement ensures that both the learner and AfriSam commit to the structured training programme.
Location: Eikenhof Quarry
The learnership will be based at Eikenhof Quarry, an ideal location for hands-on technical training in a real-world setting.
