About the Role

As a Financial Advisor specializing in Health, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding a strong client base. Your key focus will be on offering expert financial advice and solutions related to health products, ensuring clients achieve their financial well-being. You’ll work with diverse market segments, from middle-income to affluent and business clients, delivering exceptional service and tailored strategies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Engaging with clients over the phone to understand their financial goals, needs, and risk preferences.
• Providing expert advice on a range of health-related financial products, including Medical Aid, Health Insurance, and GAP Cover.
• Responding to client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
• Proactively reaching out to potential clients to identify their needs and offer suitable products.
• Meeting sales targets by aligning products with client requirements.
• Ensuring full compliance with all legislative regulations and industry standards (FAIS).

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the financial services industry.
• Education: Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  • Must meet FAIS requirements based on your Date of First Appointment (DOFA).
  • Complete relevant Class of Business Certificates within 1 year of DOFA.
  • Complete the RE 5 examination within 2 years of DOFA.
  • Hold an FSCA-approved qualification within 6 years of DOFA.
