About the Role

As a Financial Advisor specialising in Health, your primary goal will be to acquire, retain, and expand your client portfolio within the health product sector. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning advice, ensuring an excellent client experience. You’ll work with diverse market segments, from middle-income to affluent clients, professionals, and businesses, helping them achieve their financial goals through strategic health solutions.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Conduct telephonic consultations with clients to understand their unique financial goals, needs, and risk tolerance.
• Offer expert, strategic advice on a range of financial products, including Medical Aid, Health Insurance, and GAP Cover.
• Respond promptly and effectively to client queries and resolve any issues.
• Proactively engage with prospective clients to identify their financial needs and present suitable health-related products.
• Successfully sell products that perfectly match clients’ needs and financial requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with all legislative regulations and adherence to internal compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

• Minimum of 1 year or more experience within the financial services industry.
• Matric certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Ability to meet FAIS requirements based on your Date of First Appointment (DOFA).
• Must complete relevant Class of Business Certificates within 1 year of DOFA.
• Must complete RE 5 (Representative Exam) within 2 years of DOFA.
• Must hold an FSCA-approved qualification within 6 years of DOFA.
