About the Role: Business Solutions Engineer

As an Associate Director – Business Solutions Engineer, you will be instrumental in identifying business challenges and delivering efficient technical solutions. A significant part of your role will involve automating data-heavy operations for the Verifications Team, such as parsing bank statements, extracting financial data, and integrating it into Google Sheets for analysis. You will evaluate and implement third-party tools, build light integrations, and ensure smooth adoption by users.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with internal teams to deeply understand existing workflows and identify pain points.
• Research, recommend, and implement suitable third-party or open-source tools.
• Configure new tools to perfectly align with operational requirements.
• Develop lightweight integrations and automation scripts to streamline processes.
• Create clear documentation and provide training to ensure successful user adoption and maintenance.
• Deliver technical projects efficiently, focusing on short development cycles (days/weeks).
• Ensure all technical implementations are clean, sustainable, and scalable.

What You Need to Succeed (Requirements)

• At least 5 years of proven experience in a technical role, specifically solving complex business problems.
• Strong proficiency with no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate, n8n).
• Extensive experience with Google Workspace and working with APIs.
• Expertise in data extraction techniques, including web scraping and PDF parsing.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience in Python and SQL.
• A quick learner, able to rapidly evaluate and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions effectively.
• Bonus: Familiarity with private lending, structured finance, financial statements, and payment/banking infrastructure.
