How to Apply?
Ready to make this happen? The MINDS Bursary operates on an ongoing application basis, meaning they process applications as they come in for the upcoming academic year. So, the moment you get that official acceptance letter from a MINDS preferred university, get your application in!
To apply, you’ll need to submit your application online. Make sure you have the following documents scanned and saved as PDF files (each attachment shouldn’t be more than 2MB):
- A clear copy of the data/bio page of your passport.
- Certified academic transcripts or results slips for your last two years of study.
- Your official university acceptance letter. This letter must clearly state: the degree you’ve been accepted for, the academic year your degree will start, and the duration of your course.
- A copy of your valid study permit or visa, OR proof that you’ve applied for one (this is optional at the time of initial application but required before receiving funding).
- A detailed CV/Resume, no longer than four single-sided pages.
- Two reference letters (each no more than 3 pages) that highlight your integrity, leadership potential/competency, and your commitment to African development.
