Service Ambassador

About the Role

As the Service Ambassador, you will coordinate parts, manage communications, and maintain stock control within a busy IT retail service environment. Your ability to multitask and provide professional support will be key to the Service Centre’s success.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration:
  • Order and manage parts for warranty and non-warranty jobs.
  • Book all service-related parts and follow up on outstanding orders.
  • Liaise with suppliers and procurement as required.
  • Follow up on outstanding client payments.
  • Administer Board Level Repairs and manage loan devices.
• Service Centre Communications:
  • Handle client quotes and follow-ups.
  • Assist clients with machine collection and delivery.
  • Manage the daily Service Centre driver schedule.
  • Oversee and manage Service Centre support tickets.
• Stock Control:
  • Perform weekly and monthly stock takes.
  • Process the return of faulty parts to suppliers for credit.
  • Prepare for annual stock audits.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts to be fitted, returned, and in stock.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• At least 3 years of Service Administration experience, specifically within an IT Retail or Technology environment.
• Computer literate and technically oriented.
• Proven ability to multi-task effectively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Assertive, vibrant, and bubbly personality.

Location & Salary

Location: Pinelands, Cape Town

Salary: R8,000 CTC (Cost to Company) per month
