About the Role
As the Service Ambassador, you will coordinate parts, manage communications, and maintain stock control within a busy IT retail service environment. Your ability to multitask and provide professional support will be key to the Service Centre’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration:
- Order and manage parts for warranty and non-warranty jobs.
- Book all service-related parts and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Liaise with suppliers and procurement as required.
- Follow up on outstanding client payments.
- Administer Board Level Repairs and manage loan devices.
- Service Centre Communications:
- Handle client quotes and follow-ups.
- Assist clients with machine collection and delivery.
- Manage the daily Service Centre driver schedule.
- Oversee and manage Service Centre support tickets.
- Stock Control:
- Perform weekly and monthly stock takes.
- Process the return of faulty parts to suppliers for credit.
- Prepare for annual stock audits.
- Maintain accurate records of parts to be fitted, returned, and in stock.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- At least 3 years of Service Administration experience, specifically within an IT Retail or Technology environment.
- Computer literate and technically oriented.
- Proven ability to multi-task effectively.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Assertive, vibrant, and bubbly personality.
Location & Salary
Location: Pinelands, Cape Town
Salary: R8,000 CTC (Cost to Company) per month
