About the Role

As a Broker Administrator, you will be a crucial link between our brokers, clients, and internal teams. Your primary focus will be on supporting the acquisition of new clients and ensuring the efficient administration of new policy applications. You’ll play a key role in maintaining client satisfaction and upholding regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support client acquisition by assisting in identifying potential clients, following up on leads, and coordinating initial client meetings.
  • Handle the complete administration cycle for new policy applications, including preparation, processing, and ongoing management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client policies and ensure all necessary documentation is precise.
  • Monitor policy renewals, updates, and cancellations to ensure timely and correct actions are taken.
  • Provide excellent ongoing support to existing clients, promptly addressing their queries and resolving any issues they may face.
  • Assist clients with policy amendments, guide them through claims processes, and handle other client service needs.
  • Efficiently manage and organize all client files, records, and correspondence, ensuring easy accessibility and confidentiality.
  • Prepare various reports and documentation for both internal use and client presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with brokers, sales teams, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive client experience.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing client acquisition and long-term retention.
  • Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and high ethical standards in all tasks.
  • Stay continuously updated with the latest changes in industry regulations and market trends to provide informed support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Matric certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of practical experience within the life insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in computer usage and standard office software.
  • An RE5 qualification will be a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with “astute” and “atWORK” systems will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, with strong speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to your own reliable transport.
