About the Role
As the GM, Strategy & Business Transformation, you will be at the forefront of the organisation’s growth and efficiency efforts. You will be responsible for defining strategic direction, leading major transformation programs, and ensuring alignment across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the organisation’s strategic direction and transformation agenda, ensuring it aligns with business goals and delivers measurable improvements across all functions.
- Serve as a central leader, fostering collaboration among departments and engaging with external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
- Communicate and cascade strategic goals and transformation objectives throughout departments to ensure alignment and focus.
- Lead large-scale transformation programs from planning to implementation, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, driving cost optimisation, and ensuring sustained positive impact.
- Manage the implementation of changes, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations and securing buy-in from all stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and potential threats, integrating these insights into strategic planning.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader with a strong background in strategy and transformation within the EPC or oil & gas sectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- A Master’s degree or MBA is required.
Experience & Skills
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in strategy development, business transformation, or management consulting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Experience working in an EPC or oil & gas company is a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams through complex or challenging change processes.
- Demonstrated experience in project and program management, from initial design through to successful completion.
- Strong track record of leading large-scale change initiatives and effectively managing cross-functional teams.
