Job Summary

The Department of Educational Studies at the University of the Western Cape invites applications for the post of Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Curriculum Studies: Teacher Education or a related field.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide intellectual and administrative leadership in the Department, contribute to research and teaching in Curriculum Studies, and mentor staff in teaching and research. They will also participate in community engagement projects and serve on relevant Departmental and Faculty committees.

Requirements

For the post of Associate Professor, a relevant PhD, demonstrated experience in facilitating learning and teaching, a strong research and publications record, and successful postgraduate supervision are required. For Senior Lecturer, a relevant PhD, demonstrated experience in facilitating learning and teaching, a good research and publications record, and successful postgraduate supervision are required.
