Technical Support Specialist (6 month contract)
Capitec Bank Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract basis.
Purpose Statement
The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support and root cause analysis for incidents escalated, ensuring timely and accurate resolution within agreed service levels.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a technical support or IT service delivery environment, with proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex software, hardware, or network issues.
Qualifications
A certification in Information Technology – Technical Support is required, while a relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology – Computer Science or Information Technology – Technical Support is preferred.
Skills
The successful candidate will possess analytical skills, attention to detail, communications skills, interpersonal & relationship management skills, and problem-solving skills.
