Lecturer (nGAP), Civil Engineering, EBE
The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Cape Town (UCT) invites applications from South African candidates belonging to designated groups for a full-time nGAP Lecturer position starting 1 January 2026.
Job Description
The successful candidate will join the Concrete Materials and Structural integrity Research Unit and contribute to the teaching and research activities of the Department, including the supervision of postgraduate students.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- A master’s degree specialising in Structural Engineering and Materials with a 70% pass or above.
Candidates without a Master’s degree who are close to completion of their PhD research can be considered.
Remuneration
The annual remuneration, including benefits, is R941 184.
