System Analyst
Capitec Bank Ltd is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst to join their Forex Technology team in Sandton.
About the Team
The Forex Technology team designs, builds, and maintains the bank’s Forex systems and services, enabling international payments and Forex capabilities within the Global One app.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide technical and functional support across multiple Forex systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance within a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end technical support and maintenance for Forex systems and integrations.
- Monitor system performance, manage alerts, and coordinate responses to incidents and outages.
- Support the automation of forex processes.
- Ensure compliance with cloud, risk, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar technical role, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated experience with AWS cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and Linux.
