In this role, you will be crucial in managing and resolving claims efficiently, navigating systems with confidence and accuracy, and ensuring excellent service for customers.

Key Responsibilities
As a Claims Fulfilment Consultant, your main tasks will include:
- Authorizing and resolving insurance claims within set mandates and turnaround times.
- Applying your technical expertise to resolve issues using available tools and systems.
- Professionally handling customer complaints and claim rejections.
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory agreements and claims handling protocols.
- Accurately managing payments, scheduling service provider appointments, and applying rates.
- Interpreting reports and quotes to facilitate prompt claim resolution.
- Operating claims systems and communication tools effectively (e.g., Outlook, SMS, Excel).
- Utilizing online resources like Google Maps to support claims processing.
- Treating customers fairly by accurately interpreting incidents and policy wording.
- Communicating technical details clearly with customers and loss adjusters.
- Investigating and reporting any suspicious activity as required.
- Engaging calmly and assertively with challenging customers, maintaining fairness and sensitivity.
- Collaborating with specialist service providers for comprehensive claim resolution.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and deliver exceptional service.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Matric certificate.
- Insurance-related qualifications are highly preferred (e.g., FETC: Short Term Insurance NQF 4, RE5).
- A minimum of 4 years of solid claims experience, with a preference for Homeowners/Building Claims experience.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
