

Stock Administrator (Mabalingwe)
Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a talent for managing inventory? We are looking for a dedicated Stock Administrator to join our team at the beautiful Mabalingwe Resort.
In this vital role, you will efficiently manage and monitor all resort inventory. Your work will ensure accurate stock levels, provide timely reports, and support seamless resort operations by maintaining reliable and up-to-date stock records. You will also coordinate stock movements and assist with procurement and finance-related tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain precise and current records of all stock transactions using the resort’s Oracle Finance system.
- Monitor inventory levels across various departments (like food & beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance) to prevent running out of stock or having too much.
- Process stock requests, deliveries, and transfers, ensuring all paperwork and approvals are correct.
- Conduct regular stock takes and resolve any differences in coordination with department heads.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports using Microsoft Excel and Oracle Finance tools.
- Work with suppliers and the procurement team to track deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Ensure all goods are properly stored and labelled according to resort and health & safety standards.
- Support internal audits and assist with compliance reporting when needed.
- Collaborate with finance and operational departments to improve stock management processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar stock control or administrative role, preferably within the hospitality or resort sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (you should be comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and reporting).
- Experience with Oracle Finance or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. (Training on our specific setup will be provided if necessary).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy resort environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Certification or training in inventory or supply chain management is an added advantage.
Working Environment
- This position is based at the resort premises in Mabalingwe.
- You will have occasional movement between stockrooms and various departments.
- Please note that you may be required to work weekends or public holidays, depending on the resort’s operational needs.
- The role involves both office-based administrative tasks and overseeing stockroom operations.
