Who Can Apply?
This amazing bursary is looking for exceptional young people from Africa who demonstrate:
- Strong academic performance and leadership potential.
- A history of overcoming barriers to their education.
- A serious commitment to pursuing their studies.
- A desire to make a positive impact, especially in addressing the climate crisis.
You can apply for either:
- An online postgraduate diploma (part-time, up to two years).
- An online Master’s degree (part-time, up to three years).
Important: For Master’s programmes, you must have completed an undergraduate degree and not already hold a postgraduate qualification. For postgraduate diplomas, candidates with either an undergraduate or Master’s degree from an African university are eligible, provided you will graduate and submit your certificates and transcripts by the application deadline.
All selected Mastercard Foundation Scholars at the University of Edinburgh will also participate in a dedicated Climate Leadership Programme, preparing you to tackle global environmental challenges.
