The University of the Free State is seeking a Lecturer in Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) and Technology Education.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Technology Education, Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD), and Teacher Education. Other responsibilities include participating in the Work Integrated Learning programme, engaging in research activities, contributing to curriculum development, and supervising students.

Requirements

A PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field is required. Candidates must have a formal teaching qualification with Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) as one of the major subjects. A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a school environment or 2 years in a higher education environment is required.
