2023 FIG Foundation PhD Scholarships for Students from low-middle income countries 2023-24 is open for International Students . The scholarship allows PhD level programm(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at USA Universities . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 01 Jun 2023.

The FIG Foundation is a non-profit organization that was established in 2006 by the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) with the aim of supporting the education and professional development of surveyors and related professionals worldwide.

The foundation’s mission is to promote excellence in surveying education and research, and to encourage the application of surveying in solving global challenges. The foundation’s goals include supporting academic research and training, promoting international collaboration, and enhancing the understanding and use of surveying and geospatial information in society.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants shall:

  1. be studying for a PhD degree and registered solely in a surveying/geomatics academic programme that teaches surveying[1] in a country listed by the World Bank as a low-income, lower-middle or upper-middle income economy[2],
  2. have had a paper accepted by a peer reviewed international journal based on their doctoral research project; applicants should be the lead author, and the paper should be co-authored with their supervisor,
  3. should not have submitted their final thesis at the application deadline.
